La Paz -
It is considered one of the most beautiful natural sceneries in the world.

Small coastal town that attracts responsible travelers and lovers of marine biodiversity, in addition to its miles of white sand beaches and turquoise sea. It is an area of binational ecological importance that stands out for its biodiversity and its historical and cultural value. The Bay of La Paz, in the municipality of the same name, is one of the main tourist attractions of the peninsula. The city of La Paz is characterized by beautiful beaches ideal for rest and recreation, such as the practice of water sports.

La Paz - Origin

The first nomadic settlers arrived to the peninsula by the route of the coasts of the Pacific Ocean and it is calculated in fourteen thousand years, among their legends is told the existence of giants, by the bones found and attributed to them the creation of the cave paintings in the area, perfectly defined tribal groups in pre-Hispanic times: the Pericúes, guaycuras and cochimíes.

They gave the city and port its present name. On October 8, 1596, they traveled through the Baja California peninsula, established a settlement in the bay that they named La Paz Bay and explored the coast of the Gulf of California.

It is located south of the Baja California peninsula in the bay of La Paz 202 km north of Cabo San Lucas, 1:50 min driving distance, the road is wonderful and you will find cactus with extravagant shapes, trees and a variety of desert plants.

It has the Manuel Marquez de Leon International Airport that receives direct domestic and international flights.

Gastronomy

There is no better way to complement a trip than with a gastronomic tour. Just as the good moments remain forever in your memory, there are also delicacies that you will never forget.

California’s gastronomy is characterized by fish and seafood dishes, basically due to the great fishing activity that takes place throughout the state. Lobster, sole, tripe, clams and shrimp are some of the varieties of its recipes, as well as traditional Mexican and international cuisine, but I recommend the local dishes.

The destination has the Safe Travels certificate, endorsed by the World Tourism Organization to ensure the safety and confidence of visitors.
